Community Programs
The Hilliard Education Association is committed to its community through its many charitable programs. Our members donate their time and resources to the following programs:
Kindergarten Literacy Program- provides a book to every incoming Kindergartner student at Kindergarten screening.
Children’s Hospital Reach Out and Read- HEA members donate hundreds of books that are given to children at doctor visits.
Children’s Hospital Back-to-School- HEA donates funding to help provide backpacks filled with school supplies to students in need.
HEA Blood Drive- held in conjunction with the American Red Cross at the Hollyfest Arts and Crafts Show
Read Across America- celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday by sharing the love of reading with students.
Friends of Education- HEA members nominate and recognize community members who have impacted the lives of students in Hilliard City Schools.
New Teacher luncheon- welcomes new teachers to Hilliard City Schools.
Retirement dinner- recognizes the contribution of our retiring members.
HEA Scholarship Program- providing financial resources to deserving high students pursuing a career in education and to HEA member children.
Support of the Hilliard Education Foundation and Hollyfest (Hilliard Chamber of Commerce scholarship fundraiser).
